About this project…

The City of Winnipeg upgraded their west end sweage treatment plant to include Bio Nutrient removal. This project consisted of the retrofit of the existing facilities without any shut down of the existing ongoing treatment. Wescan's installations included;

• Process piping and pumping installations
• Fine bubbler diffuser systems
• Primary and secondary clarifiers
• Bio reactors
• New DAF units
• Sludge handling systems
• Chemical feed and dosing systems
• Foul air mitigation and Incineration
• Electrical power and control connections
• Instrumentation installation, commissioning and integrations
• PLC and DCS controls

The City of Winnipeg now operates this facility on a 24/7 basis and only mans the facility 40 hours per week.
